Our core mission encompasses advocacy, recycling, and upcycling of textile waste. We are fully committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goals 12 & 13.

Afthonia participated in a stakeholder’s consultation organized by Circular Economy Innovative Partnership (CEIP) and KTN innovate UK. The workshop featured different stakeholders in the textile waste management industry across the country discussing the innovation needs for a Circular Economy in Nigeria, as well as challenges plaguing the industry through the value chain. These challenges include collection, processing and end-user considerations. Potential solutions were also discussed.

• Each of the women is styled with an upcycled fashion accessory and outfit donated by OSC fashion and Diakwu clothing respectively.
