A Market Clean up

The market clean-up project was an advocacy program to create awareness of the environmental impact of textile waste. We spoke with textile merchants and tailors at Ojuelegba Market, Surulere, Lagos. It is important to us that people who work with textiles understand the impact of textile waste on the environment.

This is an ongoing project at Afthonia.

Our core mission encompasses advocacy, recycling, and upcycling of textile waste. We are fully committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goals 12 & 13.
